Cultural Centre of National University of Malaysia organizes a cultural trip almost every year to various countries all over the world. The trip’s main purpose is to provide an exposure to students about other countries’ cultures, besides shrinking the gap among Asian countries especially in cultural and art field. Among the countries that we have gone to are:
Thailand (19th – 25th June 1994)
Riau, Indonesia (5th – 11 June 1996)
Aceh, Indonesia (14th September 1997)
Beijing, China (22nd – 28th October 2000)
Istanbul, Turkey (October 2001)
Bali, Indonesia (1st – 7th 2004)
Perth, Australia (17th – 23rd May 2006)
Beijing, China (19th to 26th of May 2007)
And this year we are planning to have a visit to Hong Kong with another two universities to explore; University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
This trip is a project by Cultural Centre of National University of Malaysia along with our very own art society, Artisukma. The trip, which takes place from the 1st of December to the 6th, will be led by YBhg Prof Dato' Dr. Mohd Wahid Samsudin, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni) with other 14 students and officers.
